Game of Thrones - Emotional Roller Coaster

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

In gif form, I’d like to map out my reactions to certain emotionally-charged scenes in Seasons 1 and 2 of Game of Thrones.

When Daenerys is forced to marry Khal Drogo, and he has his way with (yes, rapes!) her on the mountaintop:

When King Baratheon orders Ned to kill one of his family dogs because Joffrey’s a fucking spineless LIAR:


(the dog’s yelp of pain LITERALLY caused me to sob)

When Bran Stark climbs the tower and discovers Cersei and Jaime in an incestuous love tango:

When we’re introduced to the character Lysa Tully… with a grown-ass little boy feeding, firmly latched onto her BREAST.

When all hell breaks loose at Kings’ Landing, and Arya’s “dance” instructor squares off against all those men, cuts ‘em down, then is left facing the last of them with a sad, wooden, hacked-off half-sword, and he asks Arya, “What do we say to Death?” And she responds “Not today.”

When Joffrey goes all homicidal maniac and orders the beheading of Ned Stark… I’m wondering, Yeah, ok, they’re not gonna kill Ned Stark. Let’s see, who’s gonna kick some Lannister-ass and free the guy? Ooo, I hope it’s Arya. I hope she jumps on stage and…

Then the sword comes down and FRICKIN’ KNOCKS NED’S HEAD CLEAN OFF HIS NECK.
